Machining is a fundamental step in the cylinder manufacturing process, as precise finishing directly impacts the performance and durability of the components. At Controil, this process is carried out with strict technical rigor, ensuring high quality standards in every detail.
With continuous investments in innovation and technology, Controil currently operates fully automated machining cells, where all handling and movement are performed by robots. This automation provides greater dimensional accuracy, repeatability, and control throughout every stage of the production process.
This technological advancement results in products with superior finishing, reliable performance, and longer service life, ensuring excellence for the most demanding automotive systems.
CTR Innovation Lab
The Randon Technological Center (CTR) is a strategic space dedicated to development and experimentation, created to support the demands of Randoncorp and its partners in the search for innovative automotive product solutions. Through the CTR Innovation Lab, multidisciplinary teams engage in co-creation processes and the application of sustainable technologies, strengthening the continuous evolution of the group’s products.
Located in Farroupilha, Rio Grande do Sul, CTR features a complete infrastructure for testing and validation under real operating conditions. The complex includes more than 20 distinct test tracks, totaling 15 kilometers, which reproduce different types of pavement and specific irregularities for automotive component trials.
In addition, CTR has a building equipped with high-performance structural and vibrational laboratories, advanced technology, and a highly qualified team of engineers, drivers, and technicians. This structure ensures safety, reliability, and competitiveness for the products developed.
